Displaying object information

Points of interest (POIs)

To view points of interest in the menu on the left of the screen, click the “Information” link and then click “Points of interest” in the drop-down menu (Figure 16).

The POIs types available are shown as blue icons. They can be larger or smaller. A larger icon means that a given type is selected on the map. A small icon means that a given type is not selected on the map. You can choose from the following POIs:

Clicking an icon denoting a given type, POIs shown on the map can be viewed in the centre of the screen (Figure 17).

Place the cursor on a POI to display more details about it. The selected POI’s details will be displayed in a context window (Figure 18).

Traffic restrictions

To view information about traffic restrictions, in the menu on the right of the screen, click the “Information” link and then, in the context menu click the “Traffic restrictions” link (Figure 19).

Icons for the traffic restriction items are displayed in the same manner as other objects from the “Information” group.

You can choose from the following objects:

Clicking an icon denoting a given type, items shown on the map can be viewed in the centre of the screen.

To display more details of a given item, place cursor on it. The details will be displayed in a context window.

TRISTAR infrastructure

To view information about TRISTAR infrastructure, in the menu on the left of the screen, click the “Information” link and then, in the drop-down menu click the “TRISTAR Infrastructure” link (Figure 20).

Icons for the TRISTAR infrastructure items are displayed in the same manner as for other objects from the “Information” group.

You can choose from the following items:

Clicking an icon denoting a given type, items shown on the map can be viewed in the centre of the screen.

Place the cursor on a given item to display more details about it. The details will be displayed in a context window.

Traffic information

To view traffic information items, in the menu on the left of the screen, click the “Information” link and then, in the context menu click the “Traffic information” link (Figure 21).

You can choose from the following items:

Traffic information is presented as coloured lines on the main screen map. Individual colours denote speed ranges for Average speed items and number of vehicles for Traffic intensity items (Figure 22).
